Title: Abkhazi Garden

Description: Heritage home and garden located in Victoria, B.C. Purchased by The Land Conservancy of BC in 2000, the site was both the home and creation of Peggy Abkhazi and her husband Prince Nicholas Abkhazi from 1946 to the late 1980s. It is known as much for the romantic history of the Abkhazis as for its exquisite horticultural features. Some of the buildings and garden layout were designed by the architect John Wade. In addition to general visitor information, the web site provides a description of the garden as well as its history.
