Description: "Dr Bob Blair, Professor Emeritus and a Former Head of Animal Science, and Cathleen Nichols, Community Partnerships Manager, are collaborating in writing a History of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The purpose is to celebrate the illustrious story of the Faculty from its early days to its change of name to the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in 2005. Many faculty, staff and graduates of the Faculty distinguished themselves nationally and internationally, and the history will acknowledge their achievements. The history will be published, first on the Faculty website http://www.landfood.ubc.ca as material is received. The plan is then to issue a CD of the history, followed by a book."
