Title: British Columbia History Web Site Prize

The British Columbia Historical Federation and David Mattison, creator of The British Columbia History Internet/Web Site, jointly sponsor a yearly cash award to recognize web sites, longer than one page, that contribute to the understanding and appreciation of British Columbia's past.

Judging is based on historical content, layout, design and ease of use. Since the award is meant to honour individual initiative in writing and presentation, institutional sites are not eligible.

Nominations for the BC History Web Site Prize must be made to the British Columbia Historical Federation, Web Site Prize Committee, prior to 31 March of each year. Web site creators and authors, subject to the Prize Rules, may nominate their own sites.

For more information, including full prize rules and to submit a nomination, visit the BC Historical Federation Web site page for the BC History Web Site prize.
