Description: This Vancouver Public Library digital collection describes and reproduces around 1,000 photographs taken by the Vancouver firm of Artray Limited, which was started in 1948 by Art Jones and Ray Munro, former Vancouver Sun photojournalists. Access to the digitized photographs is through a keyword search engine or a gallery view. The collection depicts scenes and individuals at work and play around Greater Vancouver in the 1940s and 1950s.
