This Canada's Digital Collection by the Vancouver Public Library describes the kinds of photographs taken of the City of Vancouver by photographer Phillip Timms (1874-1973), along with biographical information about the photographer, and a link to a searchable database with digital facsimiles of his Vancouver photographs from 1900 to 1910.
The digital collection also includes an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the book published in conjunction with the Vancouver Museum's 1971 exhibit "Vancouver: the Golden Years, 1900-1910."
This site was phase one of a project to digitize all the Timms photographs. Phase two is titled British Columbia Through the Camera Lens of Philip Timms and was released in March or April 2004.
