Barber Learning Centre's BC History Digitization Program, Vancouver Public Library digitized its holdings of city (business) directories dating between 1860 and 1901. The directories cover the province, specific cities and parts of the Pacific Northwest outside of BC. The directories are not keyword-searchable. TIFF and PDF page images can be downloaded for free.
